The November winds whipped through Ray Vecchio's thinning hair, as he made his way to his hotel. "I hate Toronto," he muttered. The revolving door of the Hotel Fairmont glistened with a promise of relief from the cold, drizzly Canadian weather.

Sighing tiredly, Ray pushed his way in, barely noticing the person on the other side, who was heading out. A familiar bark got his attention. Quickly, he looked back and exclaimed, "Benny!" His voice was muffled by the door and Fraser and Diefenbaker continued out of the hotel. Ray made a complete circuit and found himself once more on the cold sidewalk.

He called again, "Hey Benny!"

Fraser turned and his clear blue eyes widened with surprise, "Ray, is that you?"

With a huge grin, Ray embraced his old friend. "What are you doing here, Benny?" he asked, when he finally let go.

"I''m here for the American-Canadian Law Enforcement Co-operation Symposium. I presume that's why you're here. Are you working with the police department in Miami?" he questioned, with a slightly raised eyebrow.

"Nah, I'm back with the Chicago PD. There's only so much sun and fun a guy can take without going nuts." He rubbed his hands together for warmth. "Let's go inside, Benny. I'm freezing."

"Of course, Ray. Are you staying here as well?"

"Yeah, this dump is all that the department would spring for. You know how Welsh is about his precious budget. "

"And how is Lt. Welsh?" Fraser asked as they went back into the hotel.

"Same as ever."

Minutes later, they were seated in a booth at the hotel's bar, Ray with a scotch and soda, and Fraser with a cup of hot tea. They sat in silence for awhile, both uncertain what to say to the other.

"How's Stella?" Fraser asked, hoping to get the conversation moving.

"Fine, fine. Actually, it was because of her that we moved back to Chicago. She got this fantastic offer from this giant law firm and well, the money was too much to pass up on. The bowling alley, " he leaned back in the both and waved his hand dismissively. "It was barely breaking even, so we decided this was the best way to go."

"That's wonderful, Ray,"

"Wait, I can't believe I haven't told you this already," Ray dug through his pocket until he found his wallet. Opening it, he pulled out a picture and handed it to Fraser. He smiled, when the mounties eyebrows shot up. "Yep, that's my little girl, Carly Marie, born this June 24th. Nine pounds, six ounces and a head full of hair. " Fraser gazed at the picture in amazement. "She's beautiful Ray, She has your . ."

"Yeah, I know, my nose. I've already started saving for the nose job she's going to want when she's gets to be a teenager."

"I was going to say she has your eyes, Ray. They are a brilliant shade of green." Fraser reproved. "You and Stella must be overjoyed."

Ray fidgeted and turned his attention to his drink. "Yeah, well, I wanted kids but Stella didn't at first, but hey, things happen. The pill doesn't always work." He glanced up in time to see Fraser blush. She's happy now, of course. She even hired a nanny to take care of Carly when she's at work. Ma offered to do it, but Stella insisted that her daughter should have the best." He frowned and studied his drink some more. Finally, he said, "So, what about you? What are you and Kowalski doing these days? Are you still together?"

He smiled happily. "Yes. We live in Otter's Creek. When we captured Muldoon, I was offered a job here in Toronto, but of course, I didn't take it."

"Of course, no one in their right mind would."

"We are out in the middle of nowhere, you might say, " Fraser continued. "But we're very happy. There's not much crime out there, so it affords me the opportunity to spend most of my nights at home. And Ray has opened a dance school."

"Really? A dance school in the middle of nowhere," Ray commented, taking a sip of his drink.

"Oh yes, folks come from miles around to attend. It's enormously popular; particularly with the Inuit. Most people don't know how much the Inuit enjoy dancing."

Surpressing a laugh, Ray answered, "That's true; most people don't know that. Where's Kowalski now?"

"On a hunting trip with his father. The two need a chance to bond. There's been a great deal of tension between them, especially since we. ." he trailed off.

"I guess that would freak the guy out." Ray gulped down the rest of his drink. "Stella wasn't too happy about it either. You're name is forbidden in my house."

Fraser stared into his tea. "I understand. Did you ever tell her about us?"

"No."

"Well."

"Yeah."

They sat quietly as the room around them buzzed with people just getting off from work and looking to unwind. The pretty waitress set another drink in front of Ray.

"So, you're staying at this hotel?" he asked.

"Yes Ray, the seventh floor."

"Well, I guess I should be going up now."

"Me too."

Ray left the money on the table and the two walked quietly to the elevators. Once inside, Fraser pressed seven, and Ray, nine. They rode up in silence. The elevator stopped at every floor letting off passengers.

At last it came to the seventh floor. The door opened. Fraser didn't move, Dief whined questioningly. It closed and they continued up. A stop on eight and then on to nine. Without looking at each other, they stepped out. Ray fished in his pocket for the key, and unlocked the door. Fraser hesitated for a moment and then went in. Ray closed the door behind him. They stood in the dark.

"We can't do this," Fraser whispered.

"Yes we can. We never got to say goodbye, Benny. This is our goodbye. One night, that's all. No guilt, just one last time."

Fraser opened his mouth to protest, then closed it, and nodded silently.

"Benny," Ray breathed.

And then they were touching each other, mouth to mouth, hands roving over familiar pleasure spots. Their tongues battling for dominance. Dief sighed resignedly, and lay down by the door.

Ray pushed free. "I want to see you naked, Benny."

Buttons unbuttoned and zippers unzipped, followed by a hailstorm of flying clothes, and they were standing nude, facing each other.

"You take my breath away, Benny. You always did."

"Ray!"

Ray took his hand and led him to the bed. They lay down together, inches apart. Fraser smiled as memories of the thousand times they had done this before, flooded his mind.

Ray traced his jawline with a finger, then moved to his lips. The pink tongue darted out and touched his finger for an instant. That was too much for Ray, who knew all to well what that tongue was capable of. He pushed Fraser flat on his back and rolled on top of him.

Plunging into his friend's mouth, he sucked, licked, tasted, devoured. Fraser bucked beneath him, grinding his body, his cock against Ray.

"Slow it down, make it last, "Ray told himself, but knew he couldn't.

Releasing Fraser's mouth, he tongued his way down to his chest. He licked the sensitive skin and then blew on it gently. He was rewarded with Fraser's cries of delight.

First a little pleasure, then a little pain; he knew what the mountie liked. He nipped at the skin teasingly. Fraser moaned. He took a nipple between his teeth and pulled hard. Fraser uttered a strangled cry, and thrust his hips against him desperately.

Laughing, almost hysterically, Ray moved down to his groin. He eyed the sizable, swollen shaft.

"Do you want me to bite it or lick it?"

"Ray!" Fraser panted.

"What's that? You want me to suck it? Now, why didn't I think of that?" Ray licked the weeping tip, Lost in the memories that taste sparked, he almost wasn't aware of throating Fraser's dick. Almost.

He sucked and scraped his teeth against it. Fraser arched up, calling his name over and over again. Ray hummed a half forgotten tune, something about cakes and rain, his fingers working over the trembling flesh. Then Fraser's body was spasming and he was calling for divine assistance. Hot spurts of his juices flooded Ray's mouth, and then Fraser was still.

Gazing up at his lover, Ray smiled at his disheveled appearance. He looks like an angel, he thought, a fallen angel, and I'm the devil who ravished him.

"You still alive, Benny?" he asked.

"Just barely, Ray." He wrapped his long, powerful legs around Ray and said, "If I remember correctly, it's your turn now."

Ray became aware of his cock, screaming for attention. He reached into the night stand and produced a bottle of hand lotion. "I don't have any lube, will this do?"

"Yes thank you, Ray."

Slicking a finger with the lotion, he inserted it into Fraser's tight ass. He closed his eyes, trembling with anticipation. Stella rarely let him do this; only when she wanted something. Another finger worked it's way in. Fraser's limp shaft was beginning to show signs of life. A third finger joined the other two.

"Now, Ray. I'm ready now!"

Removing his fingers, he pressed his rock hard dick against Fraser. He hesitated and looked deep into Fraser's hungry eyes. Satisfied, he plunged inside. The mountie cried out in mingled pleasure and pain. Ray held him still for a moment, knowing that any movement would sent him over the edge.

When at last, he had control of himself again, he began to thrust. Gently, at first, then with more gusto.

"Yes Ray!" Fraser moaned, his eyes closed and his hands pumping his own cock. "It's so good! This is our dance, our perfect dance!"

"Benny!" Ray laughed, digging his fingers into the mountie's flesh, as he rocked the two of them into ecstasy. "Give it to me, baby. C'mon, come for me!"

With a wordles cry, Fraser climaxed. Three more deep strokes and Ray followed. Sighing contentedly, he collapsed on top of his lover.

Hours later, the sound of a shower woke Ray. He stretched languidly, thinking of the night before. Then the reality of the situation sunk in and he rolled over onto his side. He was a married man, with a kid no less. Fraser was in a commited relationship with Kowalski. What the hell had he been thinking?

It had been great though. Fraser was just as weird as ever. What was that business with a perfect dance? he thought smiling. Dance, dancing, dance school, Kowalski, his smile faded. Had Fraser been thinking of Kowalski when they were making love? Which Ray had he been calling for?

His thoughts were cut short when Fraser came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel. His face was pale and his eyes were haunted.

"I'm sorry, Ray," he said. "I shouldn't have let this happen."

"It's okay, Benny. It's not the end of the world,' Ray answered, sitting up.

"Yes it is. My Ray will never forgive me for this," Fraser whispered.

"So don't tell him. There's no need for anybody to know about what happened."

Fraser reached for his clothes and began to dress quickly. "I can't lie to him, Ray. I love him."

"I can't believe I let myself do something this stupid. I don't know what I'll do if I lose him," Fraser reached for the door. He turned back to Ray. "I'm sorry, Ray."

"Fraser, FRASER!"

But it was too late, mountie and wolf had left.
