A couple of years ago in a pub in Chester, a specially commissioned rewrite of the Neil Sedaka song 'Happy birthday sweet sixteen' was performed at a karaoke to celebrate the 30th birthday of local Gay Icon 'Gay Steve'. We at MartyCam have recently contacted Steve in order to seek his permission to publish the lyrics of the song as a tribute to Quentin Crisp who died recently.
