Where to begin? This one's chock fulla material. OK, Peri's outfit. Cleavage, cleavage, cleavage! Have we ever had this much blatant exposure of a companion before? Tied-up shirt, bright blue shorts and high heels. The only thing marring the look is that horrible headband. It's so... 80s. Going to your jazzercise class later, Peri? :-) Chessene... I don't know. She's a little too scary for me to be really appealing. Anita's very lovely, though. The Spanish features and accent add a nice exotic touch to her and the pink dress we first see her in is flattering. Later, at the restaurant, she changes to her hostess clothing. Don't like the puffy sleeves, but the slit skirt and high heels show off her legs nicely, if briefly. Now on to some specific moments: Peri's heaving bosom throughout. The Doctor hauls Peri over his shoulder at one point, giving us a nice rear view. Peri eating a banana. It conjures up images of other, similarly-shaped things in her mouth :-) Jamie gets to wrestle with Peri for a while, the lucky so-and-so. And one has to wonder how a nice, Scottish lad from the 18th century would react to Peri's choice of clothing. When the action moves to Spain, it must be really hot. We needed more close-ups of Peri (and Anita for that matter) being hot and sweaty. Speaking of Peri and Anita, there's a couple of people I'd like to see... get better aquainted. Anita could certainly use some "comforting" after Oscar's death[1]. Shockeye finds Peri to be a "fine, fleshy beast." Well, don't we all. And I'm sure, like Shockeye, most of us here would be pleased to eat Peri, albeit, in a different way than he's thinking :-) And finally, a couple of kisses. Anita kiss the Doctor, but not Jamie; Jamie looks crushed. Later on, Jamie unexpectedly kisses Peri; Peri looks stunned. Wow, folks sure got lucky in this one. [1] Slight OT rant here. Was Oscar's death really that neccessary to the story. I really liked him and death seemed pointless and cruel. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Doug A Scott Second-in-Command, Joxer Shields Member of the Gabrielle & Joxer Romantics Society Member of Joxer Enthusiasts Supporting Sapphic Subtext (JESSS) Visit the Doctor Who Chronology at: http://www3.islandnet.com/~dascott/intro.htm ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ONElist: the best source for group communications. http://www.onelist.com Join a new list today!
