Well this I may say will be the toughest part of the website. If you have known me in the past you know that I was very open online and that I would pretty much tell you anything you wanted to know about myself.. my past.. about me..
Not anymore.
So if you already knew me you probably will not find any new information in here. I hope you enjoy reading of the man known only as Zen.
Well maybe we should begin by looking at my name I chose. I did not choose it for it's meaning. I had a vision of the sign I use to state my name. Two anarchy signs joined together vertically to make a Z with a vertical line through it. If you look up the "computer" meaning of it.. It goes as follows:
Zen - To figure out something by meditation or by a sudden flash of enlightenment. Originally applied to bugs, but occasionally applied to problems of life in general.
Usage in a Sentence - "How'd you figure out the buffer allocation problem?"
"Oh, I zenned it."
The word Zen also refers to a buddhist religion that is undefined. Here is an exerpt from http://sunsite.unc.edu/zen/ that attempts to give an understanding of the phrase Zen:
"If you've wandered here wanting to know what Zen is, then more than likely you will come away disappointed. This is a question that is easily asked but not easily answered. A Hindu story tells of a fish who asked of another fish: `I have always heard about the sea, but what is it? Where is it?' The other fish replied: `You live, move and have your being the sea. The sea is within you and without you, and you are made of sea, and you will end in sea. The sea surrounds you as your own being.' The only true answer is the one that you find for youself."
